Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville)

Job Description:

We are looking for a professional to lead business development and market prospecting in the DRC and Congo-Brazzaville regions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and promoting the sustainable growth of the company in the optical/medical sector.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and identify market opportunities in the designated regions.
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with local partners.
• Implement business strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Ensure brand image maintenance and quality standards.
• Manage and implement KPIs: sales, margins, stock, and goal achievement.
• Support the implementation of new protocols.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Portuguese and French.
• English proficiency is an asset.
• Degree in Management, Logistics, Optometry/Orthoptics, or related fields.
• Previous experience in the optical sector.
• Passion for commercial and business development.
• Availability to reside and work in DRC and Congo-Brazzaville.

Technical Skills (Hard Skills):

• In-depth knowledge of the optical sector.
• Ability to analyze the market and identify opportunities.
• Proficiency in management and strategic planning tools.
• Fluency in Portuguese and French; English knowledge is a plus.

• Effective Communication: Ability to clearly and assertively express ideas, facilitating negotiations and partnerships.
• Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide teams, ensuring the achievement of goals and objectives.
