Oftalmed is an Angolan company, founded in 2016, focused on importing medical devices and equipment into Angola, with a special focus on the area of visual and hearing health.
Later, it expanded to other African markets and diversified its portfolio of products and services, becoming the right partner for companies in the healthcare sector, who find in Oftalmed the solution for all their needs and in accordance with the maturity of the business. Providing a complete and integrated turnkey service, such as investment and innovation studies, creation of concepts, decoration and architecture of spaces, selection of a portfolio of articles, negotiation and subsequent supply of stocks, selection of cutting-edge diagnostic equipment and training.

In January 2024, a milestone in the company’s journey was marked with the inauguration of the first ophthalmic lens factory in Angola and the only one in all of Central Africa, making it possible to fill a gap in the African market in the area of visual health, providing excellent quality products within unbeatable deadlines.
